From the beginning, Cosmos Travel was a family business and it continues to be to this day. For over 45 years the agency served and continues serving thousands of satisfied clients.

Andrew Metelski established Cosmos Travel in August 1969. In 1973 his wife Maria took it over and was the owner until August 2004. In 2004, Cosmos Travel was passed down to Maria’s niece and goddaughter Maria Styrczula. Although Maria did not originally begin her career in the travel industry, she has been working in customer service industry specifically in banking for a total of 35 years.

Since August 2004 Maria has been proudly working with clientele all over the Chicago land area, and especially the Polish community. Maria specializes in Caribbean and Mexico vacations, group trips to Europe, Asia and South America, and European, Disney, and Caribbean cruises. Maria has traveled to the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, Hawaii, and Europe.

Our motto, “We have been there” is still true. We know what we are selling to our customers because we have been there and want them to have the best and most relaxing vacation. Besides travel needs, we also offer many related services such as obtaining travel documents, visas, etc. We also have a notary public service, wire money to many countries in Europe and send parcels to Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine. We still serve our clients the old fashion way because WE CARE.
